Brass mirror gets a facelift

My latest project involved an ugly brass painted framed mirror my Dad gave me. It looked completely outdated, so I decided to give it a facelift.

When I painted it white you couldn't really see the design well, so I thought staining it would do the trick

First furniture DIY

So this was my first DIY project and I went into it blind. I really had no knowledge of painting or working with furniture, so it was an adventure!

This dresser was free from family so luckily, no pressure if I screwed up.

I decided on a teal color since that was the theme of my living room. I actually really like how it came out. But I realized I should have sanded a little in between coats. Oh well!
